HOTEL LILLAN – BOOKING CONDITIONS
These Hotel Lillan’s (“Lillan Nordic Oy”) Booking Conditions (the “Booking Conditions”) apply to individual
accommodation bookings at Hotel Lillan. The author of the accommodation reservation is hereinafter
referred to as the “Customer”. Booking conditions for group bookings and information on cancellation and
rights to change can be obtained from Hotel Lillan´s sales department separately when making a group
booking. A group reservation is when the number of hotel rooms included in the accommodation
reservation made by the Customer is 5 or more.
PRICES AND FEES
The prices of the hotel rooms offered by Hotel Lillan (hereinafter individually referred to as the “room”)
vary according to the time and demand. Hotel Lillan can also offer various additional services available
during the accommodation (such as breakfast, various gift cards, parking, etc.), the availability and prices
of which will be announced separately from time to time. In addition, Hotel Lillan may, at its discretion,
offer rooms and additional services at various special and combined prices as part of limited promotions.
All valid prices and offers are available on Hotel Lillan’s website at www.lillan.fi. The customer
accepts any cancellation and change restrictions related to the price booked, which are stated in
connection with the booking process, eg. in the Price Summary. The prices quoted include the current
VAT. The room reservation made by the customer is paid in advance at the time of booking or at the check
out, unless otherwise stated by Hotel Lillan. Hotel Lillan has the right to charge and pre-verify the credit
card holders at the time of booking.
MAKING AND CONFIRMING A RESERVATION
Room reservations are made via the Internet at www.lillan.fi or by telephone / e-mail. When making a
reservation and no later than 48 hours before the announced arrival date, the Customer must provide the
personal data required by Hotel Lillan for all persons belonging to the same accommodation reservation as
the Customer. If the Customer does not provide this information in the manner mentioned above, Hotel
Lillan has the right not to confirm the Customer’s reservation or to cancel the reservation already
made and to refund the price paid by the Customer to the Customer. In addition, in Finnish hotels, all
persons staying in the room are obliged to fill in the passenger cards. The reservation made by the Customer becomes binding on Hotel Lillan when the Customer has made the payment in connection with the reservation of the room and received the confirmation of the reservation of Hotel Lillan by e-mail. Once the reservation has been confirmed, the accommodation has no right to increase or, accordingly, an obligation to reduce the
agreed price of accommodation or otherwise change the terms of the reservation, unless such change is
immediately due to a change in legislation or mandatory regulations. However, the fixed price may not
be increased. In the case of bookings made through external sales channels, the Booking Conditions of
the external sales channel shall prevail, as applicable.
BOOKING CHARGE AND PAYMENT TERM
The accommodation reservation is paid at the time of booking the room or upon the arrival to the hotel (at
check-in). If the accommodation reservation and other fees charged by Hotel Lillan have not been charged
for the entire duration of the room reservation, Hotelli Lillan will charge the booking fee and other fees
separately, latest at the time of the check-out.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
The customer can cancel his reservation within the cancellation conditions of the used reservation
channel and the booked price. If the reservation has been made via Hotel Lillan´s website, the
cancellation must be made by sending an e-mail to lillan@lillan.fi or by telephone +358 40 353 0328. The
customer has the right to change or cancel his reservation free of charge no later than 48 hours before the
start of the reservation. The customer will receive a refund as a payment or credit to the credit card.
Reservations made no later than 48 hours prior to arrival may no longer be changed or canceled. Separate
booking conditions apply to groups, and changes / cancellations must be made directly through the sales
department. Note! Reservations made through Booking.com or another booking channel must be
changed and canceled via the same channel as the booking has been made. The right of change and
cancellation does not apply to bookings whose terms do not include the rights. The applicable cancellation
policy may vary depending on the room type selected, the time of day and the terms of any promotional
campaign. The cancellation policy applicable to the customer’s booking at any given time is stated in the
product description that appears at the time of booking. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he
/ she has carefully read the applicable cancellation policy before booking.
USE AND DELIVERY OF THE ROOM
The room is available for guests from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Guests staying in the room are not
allowed to let outsiders into the hotel. Hotel Lillan has the right, at its discretion, to remove a person from
the hotel premises who is not the Customer or a person belonging to the same accommodation
reservation specified in connection with the accommodation reservation. The keys required to
enter the room(s) must not be handed over to persons other than those indicated in the
reservation. The maximum number of people in a room is 1 person in a single room and 2 persons in a
double room.
Guests staying in the room must vacate the room by 12:00 on the day of departure. Hotel Lillan is not
responsible for items left in the rooms or public areas of the hotel. Persons staying in the room must always
check that the doors are locked when leaving the room. If the Customer does not vacate the room by 12:00
on the day of departure and thus, for example, prevents the room from being cleaned, Hotel Lillan has the
right to charge the Customer € 50 for each hour after 12:00 until the Customer has duly handed over the
room.
RIGHT OF TERMINATION AND RELEASE OF RESERVATION BY HOTEL LILLAN
If the Customer, a person belonging to the same accommodation reservation stated in connection with
the accommodation reservation or any other person admitted to the hotel premises violates the Booking
Conditions or the rules of procedure in a material manner, Hotel Lillan has the right to terminate the
agreement with immediate effect. A material breach includes, but is not limited to: (i) handing over the
key to a person other than the one listed in the same accommodation booking; (ii) accommodation
in a room by a person other than those stated in the booking; (iii) use of the Room for any purpose other
than personal accommodation, such as gainful employment, without the prior written permission of
Hotel Lillan; (iv) repetitive behavior that disturbs hotel residents or those living in the vicinity of the
hotel; and (v) damage to the hotel room, common areas of the hotel and property located therein. Notice
of cancellation will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking.
If the Customer or a person included in the same accommodation reservation specified in connection
with the accommodation reservation has materially violated these Booking Conditions or the Hotel
Policies in connection with previous accommodation reservations, Hotel Lillan reserves the right not to
accept the Customer’s new reservations or cancel new reservations made by such Customer before
the new accommodation starts. If Hotel Lillan cancels a new booking made by the Customer based on
the above, the liability of Hotel Lillan is limited to the refund of the fees paid by the Customer in advance.
The room key will not work after the termination of the contract. The customer is not entitled to a refund
of any payments made or any other compensation when Hotel Lillan terminates the agreement in
accordance with the above.
FORCE MAJEURE
Hotelli Lillan shall not be liable for any damage, delay or non-performance resulting from any
circumstance or obstacle beyond the control of Hotel Lillan which Hotel Lillan cannot reasonably be
expected to have considered at the time of booking or thereafter and the consequences of which
could not reasonably have been avoid or win (force majeure). Force majeure is defined as, without
limitation, for example, fire, water damage, war, state of emergency, natural disaster, or a ban or order
issued by an authority that causes the hotel to be completely or partially decommissioned.
In the event of force majeure affecting the Room booked by the Customer or affecting its use, Hotel
Lillan has the right to cancel the reservation made by the Customer either before the start of the
accommodation (if a force majeure occurs before this time) or during it (if the force majeure occurs
during the accommodation). Hotel Lillan will notify the Customer of the cancellation due to force
majeure immediately upon receipt.
If Hotel Lillan cancels the Customer’s reservation due to force majeure, Hotel Lillan’s liability is limited
to the refund of payments already made by the Customer. In the above cases, Hotel Lillan is not obliged
to provide the Customer with replacement accommodation or to reimburse the Customer for other
costs, expenses or damages resulting from cancellation and / or force majeure (such as additional costs,
travel expenses or damage to the Customer’s property); to the extent and only to the extent that the
said costs, expenses or damages are possibly indemnifiable based on the insurance policies of
Hotel Lillan at the time of the event.
CLEANING THE ROOM
During the stay, the room will be cleaned upon request. Hotel Lillan’s staff has the right to visit
the hotel room during the stay, if necessary, for example due to necessary maintenance or other similar
reasons.
AGE LIMITS
The customer must be over 18 years old. A minor is allowed to stay in the hotel, provided that at least
one adult is accommodated in the same room.
RULES OF PROCEDURE
Hotel Lillan strives to provide its customers with a comfortable and safe customer experience.
Therefore, and in order to ensure common comfort and safety, all persons staying in Hotel Lillan must
follow these rules and the regulations marked on the hotel’s signs.
Please note that violating these policies may result in immediate removal from the hotel and liability.
The customer must follow good manners and behave matter-of-factly on the hotel premises. Behavior
must not be disturbed by other hotel residents or those living in the vicinity of the hotel, for example by
making noise, damaging property or otherwise disturbing them. Guests are also responsible for the
actions of any other person admitted to the hotel.
Property in hotel rooms and public areas of the hotel (such as furniture, linen and other equipment such
as fire alarms, shower equipment, TV and radio) must not be damaged. Property in hotel rooms must not
be taken out of the room. It is forbidden to bring dangerous or other damaging objects or substances
into the hotel premises.
Every guest has the right to a peaceful stay. Especially after 10 pm, the guest must avoid loud speech,
listening to music or other noise that may disturb other guests.
Smoking and open flames (including burning candles, incense and the like) in the rooms and other areas
of the hotel are strictly prohibited and may cause an automatic fire alarm. Any person who violates the
prohibition will be responsible for all alarm, maintenance and cleaning costs incurred as a result. Smoking
is only allowed in a separate smoking area designated by Hotel Lillan in the immediate vicinity of the
hotel.
Pets are not allowed on the hotel premises without notice. Guests bringing animals to the hotel are
required to reimburse all maintenance, administration and cleaning costs incurred as a result of the
violation.
Unauthorized persons are not allowed on the hotel premises. The doors of the hotel rooms must be kept
locked to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the hotel premises.
For the sake of public safety and the protection of the property of the guests, guests are not allowed to
store any goods in the public areas of the hotel (such as the lobby, corridors, etc.).
In order to maintain order and ensure the safety of guests, there may be a recording camera
surveillance in the hotel’s public areas (see the Registry Statement above).
Hotel Lillan’s accommodation is for personal use only. It is forbidden to engage in any kind of gainful
activity on the premises of Hotelli Lillan without prior written permission.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the contact information provided when booking. Hotel
Lillan is not responsible for situations where the booking confirmation or other information related to
the booking could not be provided to the Customer due to incorrect contact information.
The person staying in the room is fully responsible for all damages and costs incurred by the hotel
(including without limitation public areas and rooms with furniture and fittings), other guests or third
parties or their property due to negligent or willful conduct of the customer, guest or other person or as
a result of any breach of these Booking Conditions. If the identity of the person who caused the damage
or costs in the room cannot be ascertained or the damage or costs cannot be recovered from him, the
damages and costs will be charged to the Customer.
LOST AND FOUND
Goods forgotten in hotels are stored at the hotel for 3 weeks and then delivered to the Finnish Lost and
Found Service once a week, where they can be inquired about and retrieved for three months. More

HOTEL LILLAN’S RESPONSIBILITY
If the Customer or the guest discovers an error or defect related to the reservation or the equipment or
condition of the hotel rooms, he / she must notify Hotel Lillan’s staff immediately after
discovering the error, and in any case during the stay. Hotel Lillan is not obligated to compensate the
Customer for any errors or omissions that have not been reported to it in the manner mentioned above.
If the Customer has arrived at the hotel according to its arrival times, but the booked room is not
available, Hotel Lillan will endeavor to obtain the nearest possible room of the same standard to the
Customer at no extra cost. If Hotel Lillan is not able to offer the accommodation booked by the
Customer at all in the agreed manner, the Customer is entitled to a refund of the payments made. Hotel
Lillan must immediately inform the Customer of any changes to the booking. In all cases, Hotel Lillan’s
liability is limited to the refund of the price paid by the Customer.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Booking Conditions do not impair the Customer’s rights under mandatory consumer protection
legislation.
Hotel Lillan reserves the right to change these Booking Conditions. Hotel Lillan will endeavor to
announce the changes before they take effect on its website or in any other way it deems appropriate.
The customer is obliged to ensure that he has read the current version of the Booking Conditions before
accepting his reservation.
